**Global Initiative reEarth International Art Prize Now Accepting Submissions from Young Creators**


AUCKLAND: The reEarth International Art Prize, a newly established global arts initiative, is inviting submissions from young artists around the world. The competition aims to engage children and youth in climate action through artistic expression, offering an opportunity for global recognition. Participants can submit works in photography, painting, drawing, digital art, and illustration.

According to Emirates News Agency, the initiative represents a significant chance for students to join a worldwide conversation about climate change. The selected artworks will be featured in digital and physical exhibitions in Auckland, New Zealand, and Venice, Italy. The submissions will be assessed by an esteemed jury comprising artists and curators from Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Pakistan, the UAE, and the United States.

The reEarth International Art Prize is organized by The Little Art New Zealand in collaboration with FANN – Sharjah Media Arts for Youth and Children. It encourages young artists to explore them
es related to climate change, such as Life on Earth, Life Under Water, Beyond Humans, and People and Planet Connected. The initiative invites teachers and educators to promote this opportunity among students, thereby enhancing their artistic abilities and environmental consciousness.

Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director-General of FANN and SIFF, emphasized the transformative power of art in addressing climate change issues. She stated, “We encourage children and youth to seize this opportunity to highlight their environmental artistic visions and contribute to spreading awareness about global climate challenges.”

Shoaib Iqbal, co-founder of the reEarth Studio, noted the enthusiastic response from schools, children, and youth for participation in the inaugural year. He expressed his satisfaction in empowering the next generation of artists and highlighting climate change as a collective issue.

The competition is open to children and youth aged 4 to 25, with categories in painting and drawing, p
hotography, and digital art and illustration. Participants can win various awards, including cash prizes, international exhibitions, special jury awards, and e-certificates. Selected artworks will be showcased in Auckland and Venice, providing young artists a platform to voice their perspectives on sustainability.
