Abu Dhabi: Participants at the third edition of the Global Media Congress (GMC 2024) highlighted the pivotal role of youth in shaping the future of advanced media, noting that this ambitious demographic is central to the transformation of the media industry by combining passion, creativity, and openness to adopting the latest technologies.
According to Emirates News Agency, attendees at GMC 2024, which commenced yesterday at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi and concludes tomorrow, emphasized the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) as a primary tool for content development and efficiency enhancement. This innovation is considered essential for empowering youth to lead the future of media with excellence and innovation.
Mohammed Al Kaabi, Executive Director of Ajman Government Media Office, stated that the Global Media Congress is a vital international platform for exploring the latest technological advancements in media and content creation. It offers broad opportunities to gain additional knowledge and expertise in
the evolving media sector among government entities, institutions, and participants. He noted that the Ajman Government Media Office is working on developing a media strategy for Ajman’s government to adopt a communication policy that bridges the government, its entities, and the wider community.
Aryam Al Kaabi, Director of the “Dawahi Al Ain” Initiative, the first digital community platform aimed at promoting the culture of Al Ain City, said that the platform, launched in collaboration with the New Media Academy, seeks to nurture youth ideas, invest in their talents, and enable them to excel in advanced media. She emphasized the critical role played by the Global Media Congress in enhancing youth talents and increasing their contributions to the media sector.
