MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin has praised President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates for his significant efforts in advancing artificial intelligence (AI). Putin’s commendation was delivered during a speech at the AI Journey international conference, highlighting the strategic importance of AI in various sectors.
According to Emirates News Agency, Putin underscored the UAE’s remarkable progress in AI development, noting its improved international ranking last year. The advancements were described as significant, with the UAE making notable strides in the field. Putin emphasized that AI technology is poised to become a crucial resource in achieving national development goals, enhancing the country’s defense capabilities, and fostering high-quality economic growth, innovation, and efficient public administration.
