SEDD Hosts Dibba Al Hisn Investment Forum to Bolster Economic Growth
DIBBA AL HISN: The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) convened the “Dibba Al Hisn Investment Forum,” bringing together entrepreneurs and project owners to explore investment opportunities in the city. The event aimed to enhance the economic landscape by attracting and supporting businesses, promoting commercial licenses, and driving investment in the region.
According to Emirates News Agency, the forum showcased success stories of entrepreneurial ventures in Dibba Al Hisn and underscored the city’s attractive investment environment and diversified economy. The initiative aligns with SEDD’s strategy to promote Sharjah’s various regions, particularly the Eastern Region, by highlighting the strategic sectors available for investment.
Khalfan Al Herathi, Director of SEDD Branches Department, emphasized the department’s commitment to the directives of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, to enhance the emirate’s economic fields, especially entrepreneurial projects. Al Hera

Furthermore, Al Herathi reiterated SEDD’s goal to stimulate economic development across Sharjah’s cities and to engage with both public and private sectors to understand their aspirations. The forum served as an opportunity for direct dialogue between the department and entrepreneurs to address challenges and exchange ideas for advancing economic growth in Dibba Al Hisn.
Ahmed Said bin Saed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director of Commercial Affairs Department, highlighted SEDD’s focus on supporting leading projects. He announced the upcoming initiatives and programs, developed in collaboration with relevant institutions, aimed at encouraging young citizens to undertake projects that contribute to the economic development of the country, benefiting the economy, society, and individuals.
