Sharjah Ruler Welcomes Emirates Islamic Bank Delegation to Holy Quran Academy


Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, recently received a delegation from Emirates Islamic Bank, led by Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim, Chairman of the Board of Directors, at the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah. H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan acknowledged the significant support provided by Emirates Islamic Bank to the academy’s scientific and research initiatives, emphasizing its role in serving the Holy Quran and those committed to its study.



According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Dr. Sultan expressed appreciation for the bank’s collaboration with government entities, which has been instrumental in benefiting society. In recognition of their contributions, the Sharjah Ruler honored the bank’s delegation, highlighting their involvement in the academy’s projects. The meeting concluded with commemorative photographs, marking the occasion.



The delegation from Emirates Islamic Bank conveyed their gratitude to the Ruler of Sharjah for his unwavering support of the banking sector and his guidance, which they believe is pivotal in driving development. They praised his efforts in promoting Quranic studies and supporting researchers, postgraduate students, and all dedicated to the Holy Quran.



The partnership between the Holy Quran Academy and Emirates Islamic Bank aims to bolster the academy’s scholarly and cultural mission. This mission is centered on three key pillars: the Sharjah International eMaqraa, scientific studies and research, and Quranic museums. The collaboration seeks to enhance recitation programs, nurture national talent, and foster research, aligning with the goal of reinforcing Islamic values and promoting sustainable community development.



The academy, through its various partnerships, continues to advance its scholarly projects, including the development of encyclopedias of rhetorical exegesis and specialized Quranic curricula. By employing a rigorous scientific approach, the academy aims to uncover the wealth of Quranic sciences preserved in scholarly heritage, thereby revealing the greatness of the Quranic scholarly legacy. This involves forming specialized research teams in exegesis sciences and organizing symposia on Quranic interpretation and vocabulary.
