Abu Dhabi: Tadweer Group has announced the launch of its first Youth Council and Ambassador programme, designed to empower the voices of young talents within the organisation. The announcement was made during the 11th EcoWASTE Exhibition and Conference, where Tadweer Group is a Strategic Partner and co-host.
According to Emirates News Agency, Ali Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and CEO of Tadweer Group, emphasized the importance of empowering young voices for sustainable innovation. The Youth Council aims to foster leadership, creativity, and collaboration among the talented youth within the organisation. By providing opportunities to lead impactful projects and represent Tadweer Group on global platforms, the initiative supports the UAE’s vision for a sustainable and innovative future.
Abdulwahed Juma, Executive Director of Communications and Awareness at Tadweer Group, and Chair of the Youth Council, highlighted the organisation’s commitment to shaping young minds and talents. He stated that the Youth Council will allow the passionate team to unlock the value of waste and represent Tadweer Group globally. The Council will be a catalyst for young ambassadors to contribute to a sustainable world.
The Council will serve as a platform for UAE nationals to lead innovative projects, engage in key events, and represent Tadweer Group as Ambassadors. Ten members were selected through a comprehensive evaluation process and will undertake high-level assignments supporting the organisation’s transformation journey. The Ambassadors will drive youth participation in sustainability and promote a circular economy by unlocking the value of waste.
Tadweer Group focuses on empowering its younger talents through training and development opportunities, including the Youth Council. The organisation also provides a platform for Ambassadors to exchange insights and engage in discussions on shaping a sustainable future.
EcoWASTE is being held until 16th January at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), as part of the World Future Energy Summit during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
