UAE President and Pakistani Prime Minister Focus on Economic and Development Cooperation


Abu Dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received His Excellency Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who is on a working visit to the UAE. During the meeting at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, the leaders exchanged Eid Al-Adha greetings and discussed bilateral cooperation, particularly in economic, investment, and development sectors.



According to Emirates News Agency, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepening ties and broadening their partnership to achieve shared interests and national development goals. They reviewed regional and international issues of mutual concern, emphasizing the importance of supporting international efforts to promote stability and peace globally.



Prime Minister Sharif commended the UAE’s efforts in advancing peace and stability and highlighted the role of UAE diplomacy in promoting dialogue and diplomatic solutions to conflicts. He also expressed gratitude for the UAE’s ongoing support and development initiatives in Pakistan.



The meeting was attended by several high-level UAE officials, including H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, along with the accompanying delegation of the Pakistani Prime Minister. Earlier, Prime Minister Sharif was received at Al Bateen Airport by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other senior officials.
