UAE President Appoints New Leaders for Abu Dhabi Police and Department of Energy


ABU DHABI: In a recent Emiri Decree, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has appointed Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi as the Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Dr. Abdulla Humaid Al Jarwan as the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy. These appointments are part of the President’s responsibilities in his capacity as the Ruler of Abu Dhabi.



According to Emirates News Agency, Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi and Dr. Abdulla Humaid Al Jarwan are both members of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, highlighting their significant roles in the governance and strategic planning of the emirate. Major General Al Muhairi’s new role as Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police positions him at the helm of maintaining security and public safety in the capital.



Dr. Abdulla Humaid Al Jarwan’s appointment as Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy places him at the forefront of overseeing and implementing energy policies in the emirate. This role is critical as Abu Dhabi continues to develop its energy infrastructure and align with global sustainability goals.
